Making alterations to old clothes, and hand crafting jewelry at the age of 12, Erica Lasan has always been a lover of fashion.  Though she always found her passion to be the arts, Erica went on to study International Business and Spanish at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Upon graduation and not knowing what to do next, once again Erica took to creating in all forms: singing, songwiriting, photography, and designing jewelry.  It wasn't until 2010 that Erica began to really find her calling as an artist when she took her hobby of designing jewelry and decided to turn it into a business.

That same year she attended an event that would also put her on the path of becoming a freelance journalist. This opportunity would lead her to work with Ebony Magazine (under industry veteran Harriette Cole) covering shows at the Mercedes Benz Fall/Winter 2010 Fashion Week Collections.

In the course of the past three years, the QuÉrica By Erica Lasan brand continues to expand.  In 2013 Erica chose to follow her heart and pursue a life long dream of a career in broadcast media.  With a passion for conversation as her guide, Erica began creating original content for her own web channel QuÉricaTV.  This instinct brought her an opportunity to create video content for Juicy Magazine, and less than a year later landed her a partnership and show with the growing online network Black & Sexy TV.

In the meantime, when she's not developing video content, Erica continues to manage her jewelry line QuÉrica Jewelry. The line is currently being carried in 3 stores in New York, in addition to being sold online at www.QuEricaLiveRich.com.
